Don't Mind Me-Fangirl Venting

So, the new dubbed episodes for Sailor Moon R are up on Viz.com!  I was so excited because Ail/Alan is voiced by Hikaru Midorikawa in the Japanese dub (he also voices Keiichiro Akasaka in Tokyo Mew Mew <3  )  So, I was eagerly watching to see who's the new english voice actor for Ail/Alan.  Oh...My...GOD!  His voice is sooooo perfect~!   

Apparently the new voice actor is Brian Beacock--he also voices Chojuro from Naruto Shippuden and voiced Sakkon and Ukon as well as Zetsu and Yashamaru in the original Naruto series.  More info here: www.behindthevoiceactors.com/B…

But I'm just so ecstatic because if Tokyo Mew Mew was to do an English Dub Reboot as well -pushes 4Kids out a window-  then Beacock would be perfect for Keiichiro~!     

Though I'm not exactly sure who else would be good for a potential reboot o3o

Soo...yeah.  This journal turned more into a "what-if reboot fan casting" rather than a fangirl journal really... ^^'
But at least I got the squees out of me.   

But I really -really- hope a Tokyo Mew Mew reboot is being considered.  Not all dubbing companies are like 4Kids and will change things about the anime.  Viz Media and FUNimation are all integral to the material they dub and are as accurate to the source material as possible from what I've seen in their dubbing work.  Also, just a thought--Maybe they could do a Sailor Moon-esque reboot for Tokyo Mew Mew where they re-release the original anime, give it a new dub and then have another anime that's closer to the manga like how Sailor Moon Crystal is closer to their manga.  Though I'm not sure I'd like 3D transformation sequences for that, and please for the love of all that is Holy don't give them drastically long limbs.  That's the only takeaway from Crystal.  The 3D transformations are okay, the visual effects are nice (especially for Mars and Jupiter's transformations)  but I can't see the Mew Mews transforming in 3D, it wouldn't work out I think.  But the ridiculously long arms and legs...no, please no.  At least with the original anime they looked a little closer to their age despite the controversial sexualizing with the mini mini skirts and padded bust.  They actually looked like middle schoolers (if not early high school).  With Crystal, they look even more adult than they should be and look like they could be seniors!  -end rant-  

Please, Mia Ikumi.  I doubt you are reading this, but if you are, please consider making a Tokyo Mew Mew reboot.  There are still people out there that love the series even to this day.
